Strands is the NYT’s latest word game after the likes of Wordle, Spelling Bee and Connections – and it’s great fun. It can be difficult, though, so read on for my Strands hints.

Despite this search being made up of just four words (and a spangram) it was one of the toughest games of Strands in months. Kudos if you found it easy and didn’t need any hints.
The theme really didn’t help me, but I did manage to find plenty of non-game words, so took a hint with EPILOGUE which sort of narrowed things down.
The other thing making this game particularly tricky was the ridiculously long spangram, which was every bit as vague as the theme.
