Continuous assessment

Continuous assessment is an educational evaluation method that involves the regular and systematic evaluation of a student’s performance throughout a course or academic period. Unlike traditional assessment methods that rely heavily on final examinations to determine a student’s grade, continuous assessment integrates various forms of evaluation, such as quizzes, assignments, projects, presentations, and participation, distributed over the duration of a course. This approach provides a more comprehensive picture of a student’s progress and understanding, as it captures learning in real-time and allows for feedback that can be immediately applied to improve future performance.

One of the key advantages of continuous assessment is its ability to foster a more engaging and responsive learning environment.
