Blended learning, also known as hybrid learning, is an educational approach that combines traditional face-to-face instruction with online learning components. This model leverages the benefits of both in-person and digital instruction, providing a more flexible and effective learning experience. Blended learning allows for a more personalized approach to education, where students can engage with material at their own pace and access a variety of resources that suit their learning styles. The integration of technology in this model supports differentiated instruction, enabling teachers to tailor their teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of their students.

One of the key advantages of blended learning is its ability to enhance student engagement and motivation. By incorporating digital tools and resources, educators can create interactive and dynamic learning environments that capture students’ interest. Online components can include multimedia presentations, virtual simulations, and collaborative platforms that encourage active participation and critical thinking. Additionally, the flexibility of blended learning allows students to take more control over their learning process. Blended learning also addresses some of the challenges associated with purely online or in-person learning models.
