STEM education, an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, represents a multidisciplinary approach aimed at preparing students for the rapidly evolving demands of the 21st-century workforce. Unlike traditional education, which often treats these four disciplines separately, STEM education integrates them into a cohesive learning framework based on real-world applications. This approach fosters critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving skills, and collaborative abilities, aiming not only to increase proficiency in each field but also to highlight the interconnectedness between scientific and technological advancements and their societal impacts.
One of the central objectives of STEM education is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation. Through project-based learning, laboratory experiments, engineering challenges, and technology-driven projects, students develop hands-on skills that are directly applicable to current and future careers.
