It’s been a bad week for X – the social media site and former Twitter home just went down again for the second time this week, but fortunately seems to have quickly recovered. The first spike in reported problems on Downdetector happened at around 10.17am ET / 3.17pm GMT, with over 3,000 reports in the US and over 300 in the UK. Those hit a peak of 19,000 in the UK and 4,800 in the UK, but quickly dropped again as quickly as they rose. There was no official reason for this big blip, but it followed a much bigger one on Tuesday November 18 which saw the site struggle for several hours, following some problems at the cloud giant Cloudflare.
