Blended learning, also known as hybrid learning, is an educational methodology that integrates traditional face-to-face classroom instruction with online learning experiences. This approach leverages the strengths of both modalities, allowing students greater flexibility in accessing course content and providing instructors with more options for delivering and assessing learning. Blended learning often involves students participating in in-person lectures, discussions, or labs while also engaging with digital resources such as video lectures, interactive simulations, and online discussion forums outside of scheduled class times.
